At New Hope Congregational Methodist Church, we're always happy to meet new friends and we welcome visitors of all ages! We hope you'll join us for one of our weekly services, and we want to make your visit as comfortable as possible. Here's what you can expect when you come to either our Sunday morning services or our Wednesday evening Bible Study*.
Our accessibility friendly church is located in Gore, Ohio. We have a nursery with a rocking chair and changing table available for our youngest visitors as well as a children's ministry that provides a Bible lesson and craft for our school age children during the Sunday morning service.
Please don't stress about what to wear to church, for we truly believe people should come to God as they are. You don't need to dress up but you're more than welcome to if this makes you feel comfortable. Our congregation is made up of all types of people in all kinds of attire. Jeans and t-shirts are as welcome as suits, and you'll likely see both on any given Sunday.
When you walk in the front door, you'll be greeted by one or more of our friendly members and likely offered a cup of coffee with a handshake and smile. For our Sunday service, a bulletin is available on the entry table that will outline the highlights for that week's service. A variety of pamphlets, resources, and devotional material will also be found here so feel free to help yourself if you wish.
Be sure to hang around after the service and join us for coffee and friendly conversation. You'll have a chance to meet our pastor and many other people in the church. We'd also love to get to know you so you're a familiar face the next time you come. Also, if you visit us on the 5th Sunday of the month, please join us for a carry-in luncheon after our worship service. Don't worry about bringing something to share, we ALWAYS have plenty!
